Conformance
Considered Gifts aims to meet WCAG 2.2 at Level AA. We consider the site partially conformant: the criteria we have measured pass, but we have not had an independent audit, and the known gaps below are real. We would rather say that plainly than claim more than we have checked.
What we measured
Reviewed on 16 August 2026across the home page, the gift finder, a guide page, a collection page, a product page, and the text pages, at desktop and 375 px widths.

Known gaps
These are the things we know are not right yet.
- Mixed languages on the Polish and German editions. Those editions translate the interface, but much of the editorial writing is still English inside a page marked as Polish or German. A screen reader will read that English text with the wrong pronunciation rules. We are translating the catalog; until that is done, the English edition is the one that reads correctly.
- No assistive-technology testing. Our review is measurement in the browser plus keyboard testing. We have not yet run the site through JAWS, NVDA, or VoiceOver, so problems that only show up there may still be present.
- Product photography. Some product images come from retailers and their descriptions are shorter than we would like. We write our own where the image carries real information.
- No independent audit. Everything above is our own assessment.
- Where we send you. Shop links lead to retailers we do not control, and their accessibility is their own.

The measurements above are re-run when the design changes, and this page is updated with them — including the gaps. If the date at the top is old, treat the detail as stale and tell us.
