What an affiliate link means

When a link is affiliated and you make a qualifying purchase, the retailer may pay us a commission. Your price is not increased because you used that link.

What it does not mean

Payment does not determine whether a product is selected, what we say about it, or where it appears. A useful product can be recommended without an affiliate program, and a commissionable product can be rejected.

How links are labeled

Retailer links are marked for search engines as sponsored when applicable. Product pages also place a plain-language disclosure near buying options. Because programs and tracking can change, an outbound retailer link should be treated as potentially affiliated even when no commission ultimately occurs.
